Dorothy Kelly

The subject of my early paintings, were the industrial scenes I passed on my way to work near Manchester. It was the sharp contrast of yellow cut timber, or a green tarpaulin, on grimy wagons that caught my eye.
I had never heard of Lowry, but enjoyed trying to draw the crowds of workers leaving the factories.
Much later I moved to the West coast of Scotland. First to sail, and then to settle here.
I now enjoy the fascination of Collage and the magic of Watercolour.
