Welcome to Art Lochaber !

We are a group of visual artists living here in Lochaber, in the West Highlands of Scotland,  an area of extreme natural beauty. Lochaber is home to Ben Nevis the highest mountain in Britain and Loch Linnhe one of the deepest lochs. Our location is the perfect inspiration for all kinds of artwork.

Art Lochaber has a programme of workshops and events which allow us to share our interest with like-minded people. Led by skilled tutors our workshops are designed to suit all levels. Getting together provides an opportunity to chat with others and find out how they work. Workshops take place at various venues around the area and we share lifts where possible.

Our Annual Exhibition takes place in early summer but we also display members’ work on an on-going basis in the Belford Hospital, Fort William. We are non-profit-making and funds are raised through subscriptions and a modest commission made from the exhibition sales.

If you would like to get involved, please take a look at our programme page for full details of the workshops ; our members’ gallery ; and to join us see membership page.
